Par 4 S.I. 17
A 294 yard downhill par 4. Ranked second easiest hole on the course this par 4 often entices longer hitters and the fool hardy to go for the green. The tee shot is either layed up short of the road and ditch that cross the hole or aimed at the leftside of the green. A second shot following a lay up must negotiate the road, ditch and guarding bunker with a short iron to leave a chance of a birdie with the putter. An eagle opportunity awaits the successful driver of the green. The hole often frustrates many who expect better than par, and bites those who are over ambitious.

Ali Nicolson wins the Jackson medal final with his net 70 👏🏻 🏆
The scoring was very close and Spike had the best round of the day with his net 68 👏🏻 🥳
Caledonian Medal Final
Well done to Ken who won the medal on Wednesday with nett 68, Geordie in 2nd with net 70 and Colin in 3rd with net 70 loosing out on the last 9 holes.
I’m guessing the ones who were higher didn’t qualify and were only playing for handicap 🤔🤷🏻♀️
Married life is clearly suiting John Warhorse who had the best round of his life with a net 61, gross 77 and hopefully another cut in his handicap 🤩 👏🏻
