The course at Stornoway Golf Club is set amongst the woodlands of Lews Castle and rises out of these towards the moorlands to the west of the town. An undulating landscape presents the golfer with a course that demands a keen shot-making ability and a canny judgement of distances.

Seasonal Vacancy – Golf Course Assistant
(May to October, with the possibility of a longer-term position)
Stornoway Golf Club currently has an opportunity available to join our golf course maintenance team, working under the guidance of the Head Greenkeeper.
This role is ideally suited to someone who is physically fit, as the position involves outdoor work, walking, and manual labour. Experience or a working knowledge of agricultural, horticultural, or groundcare machinery would be advantageous, although not essential.
Rate of pay will be negotiable and based on experience and knowledge.
The successful candidate would be expected to start within the next few weeks.
