Cabarfeidh Hotel – “Stornoway’s Finest Hotel” is just a couple of minutes walk from the 1st tee.
Braighe House – Five Star Guest House just 10 minutes from the club with superb views over the Minch to the Shiants and the Isle of Skye. Car hire and Golf Equipment available.
Castle View – Four star self catering accomodation in the centre of Stornoway with magnificient views of the Castle and only 5 miniutes walk from the golf course.
The course at Stornoway Golf Club is set amongst the woodlands of Lews Castle and rises out of these towards the moorlands to the west of the town. An undulating landscape presents the golfer with a course that demands a keen shot-making ability and a canny judgement of distances.

The usual panic for lack of entires at the beginning of the week but the member did us proud with 79 entries 🤩
The usual summer showery weather didn’t stop the members with others who are complaining of another heatwave 🥵
They are absolute stars supporting the raffle with all proceeds going to the Hebridean Men's Cancer Support Group
Colin Macritchie winner of the scratch competition with a fantastic 65 🤩 👏🏻
The net competition may need a stewart’s enquiry 😳 with the winner Chris Graham who had an net 61, the hired trolley did the business 🤷🏻♀️😅⛳️
Nearest the pin on the 17th was won by Bob Rankin and the 18th Ian Gray

The longest drive on the 2nd was Ali Glllies and the nearest the middle was fluked by myself who had Colin Gilmour there to measure 😅🤷🏻♀️
A big thanks to ishga Skin Care who provided the main raffle prize and all the others who provided prizes, as usual the members did us proud and bought tickets for the raffle in aid of the Hedridean Men’s Cancer Support Group, there’s no one who’s not affected by this and your support is appreciated 🥰
