The course at Stornoway Golf Club is set amongst the woodlands of Lews Castle and rises out of these towards the moorlands to the west of the town. An undulating landscape presents the golfer with a course that demands a keen shot-making ability and a canny judgement of distances.
What a beautiful evening they had for the final Junior & Ladies Monday sessions that have been ongoing every week since April 👏🏻
What better way to finish with a mini Greenkeepers revenge Scramble for a bit of fun and team bonding on the course 🤩

A big thanks to the Greenkeeping staff for the help throughout the season and the great conditions of the course, despite the challenging weather, all the volunteer coaches & helpers throughout the season and the members who were understanding on a Monday as the Juniors & Ladies took over the bottom of the course for a couple of hours.
A few of our Juniors had other commitments on Monday but plenty of promising talent on show over the season from you all, thank you for all your hard work and turning up in all seasons 🌧️ 💨 ☀️⛳️💪👏🏻
I started playing golf there a long time ago under the guidance of George Hampton. A great facility and wonderful opportunity for these young people.
