The course at Stornoway Golf Club is set amongst the woodlands of Lews Castle and rises out of these towards the moorlands to the west of the town. An undulating landscape presents the golfer with a course that demands a keen shot-making ability and a canny judgement of distances.
Good evening everyone,
We at Stornoway Golf Club recognise that many people enjoy walking the course with their dogs, which we have absolutely no issue with. We kindly ask, however, that owners please try to keep their dogs off the greens — the closely mown areas where the flags are — as there has been some recent damage caused by claw marks.
The greens are the most important part of the course, and a great deal of time, effort, and money has gone into maintaining them by our dedicated greenkeeping staff.
